6x Gold Medalist both for the Pan Pacific and National Championships, Shaher is a highly accredited Jiu Jitsu black belt who has been training, teaching, and competing in Jiu Jitsu for over a decade.
Shaher has fostered a rich background that has positioned him to become the respected coach he is today. Throughout his martial arts journey, he has earned a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, trained in Judo, Boxing and Muay Thai, and has studied Jiu Jitsu extensively over the years in both the USA and Brazil.
Some of his most notable national and international recognitions include being the youngest and fastest white to black belt awardee from UFC veterans Elvis Sinosic and Anthony Perosh, and has represented Australia three times at the World Pro Championships in Abu Dhabi (took 4th place in 2015). Furthermore, Shaher has competed in the Olympic sports of Boxing and Judo and was the 2015 Pan Pacific Black Belt Open Class Champion.
When Shaher is not working or training, you can often find him reading or traveling to fulfill the pursuit of self-growth and spending time with his family.
